First, to download the edited files, click here

Second, the files you’re gonna have to change are:

header.php and footer.php You will need to change the paths for your site paths

index.php there you can change you’re welcome notes and stuff

To change the way the news are displayed, all you have to do is code the way you want to code your news template, and place those codes in the places:

News Title use this: title.txt

Category (this needs a pluggin to make category look nice, download here): category.txt

This will go where you want your news text to appear: entry.txt

The author name: author.txt

An edit link (which only appears to admin, not to visitors) and Comments link: comments.txt

I’m assuming you already know how to use headers and footers.

For all my layouts I use header.inc and footer.inc. A quick tutorial is available here

If you use files different than header.inc and footer.inc you will have to edit footer.php and header.php that comes in the default.rar package.
